ARMENPRESS. The Yerevan city prosecution has launched a criminal investigation into the August 24 fire at the Malatia Mall shopping center, General Prosecution spokesperson Arevik Khachatryan told ARMENPRESS.
Authorities are investigating a possible arson.
The major fire was put out by multiple firefighting teams on August 25th. No injuries were reported but the fire resulted in significant material damages.
