ARMENPRESS. Based on the data of the seven months of this year the real GDP growth rate in Armenia comprised 6.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a press conference in Vanadzor town.
“Industry grew by 8.4%, construction by 4.5%, trade turnover by 8.9%, services by 15.2%, and the average monthly salary by 5.9%”, the PM said.
In the first half of 2019 the tax revenues recorded an unprecedented growth – 25%. “In other words, compared to the last year, we have collected 152 billion more in taxes and fees”, he said.

Pashinyan added that 65.037 jobs were created starting from May 2018 up to now.
The PM informed that the compulsory payments to the Military Insurance Fund increased by 347.8 million drams or 9.6% in January-June 2019 compared to January-June 2018.
Trade turnover increased by 208.6 billion drams.
In January-June 2019, 1000 major taxpayers generated 511 billion AMD tax entries to the state budget, against the 446 billion AMD entries in the first half of 2018.
