“My upbringing will not allow me to respond harshly to someone who is my father’s age. But first, which Republican suggested such a thing and according to what logic did they do so? We are talking about someone who lost their son and who criticizes our authorities,” Spokesperson of the Republican Party Eduard Sharmazanov told reporters regarding a statement made by Sargis Kloyan, the father of Gor Kloyan, who was killed on March 1st, 2008, where he said that the RPA offered millions of AMD to the victims of March 1st so that their families wouldn’t demand justice.
“That is absurd. Not everything needs to be said. If something like that happened, why didn’t he announce anything? Let him give names. It was the Armenian National Congress- he could have said something. It’s absurd,” Eduard Sharmazanov said.
