On September 18, the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs moderated by Naira Zohrabyan held a closed discussion with the participation of the RA Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan.
A number of issues on the human rights in the army and defense sphere were discussed. The participants particularly touched upon the suicides taking place in the army, the military clothes, the alternative military service, as the problems concerning the soldiers’ rights in the army.
The RA Minister of Defense and those responsible for the structure answered to the numerous questions relating to the army and defense sphere.
