EU NEIGHBOURS. The ‘EU4Youth SAY YES – Skills for Jobs’ project has started a series of trainings on entrepreneurship aimed at young people in the project target areas of Alaverdi, Stepanavan, Gavar and Ararat of Armenia.
The trainings began in August 2019 and will last a total of five months, The programme began with a total of about 40 participants, but the number of trainees will be whittled down as the training becomes more intense, with the best 8-10 business models chosen for funding and follow-up coaching to help them sustain and prosper their businesses.
The emerging business ideas are different in their type and scope, including agricultural, tourism HoReCa, and other sectors.
On September 25, the project team will perform the selection of the second round of training participants. The 20 participants chosen to continue will then start the next phase of trainings on marketing, finance, product development, and more. The 8-10 best projects will be chosen for funding in March 2020.
