Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan introduced National Security Service (NSS) Interim Director Eduard Martirosyan to NSS senior staff.
“As I have already stated, I made a decision to appoint National Security Service Deputy Director Eduard Martirosyan as Interim Director of the National Security Service. As a matter of fact, Mr. Martirosyan served in the NSS all the way through his professional career. This is very important.
As I have repeatedly declared, the establishment and development of State institutions is important in the current period and in general. The NSS is a truly established institution. Nevertheless, as you may know, we have agreed that our ambitions will grow over time, and in this respect, our primary task is to constantly improve their professional level, which does not mean at all that the professional level of our institutions is low.
The daily task of everyone – from the prime minister to school teachers – should be to enhance their intellectual capacity and professional skills day by day. I believe that this is the key to progress. Mr. Martirosyan, I once again congratulate you on assuming this responsible position,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
