ARMENPRESS. Rita Martirisyan, who is engaged in tea production, received the main prize of the Hero Of Our Time award.
The award ceremony was held in Gyumri’s Sev Berd (Black Fortress) on Armenia’s Independence Day.
“I think the winner of this prize is the collective image of our heroes of all times. She is a person who made a decision to make a revolution in her life and moved from the city to live in the village. Being the mother of a family, this person didn’t think that she has nothing to do and can’t be engaged in entrepreneurship. The person who received the main prize in this award is the collective creative image of our people”, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
In her turn Rita Martirosyan thanked the PM and all media outlets for covering her activity.
“I am happy that I can contribute to the maintenance of human health with my healing teas. I have new programs that I need to implement”, she said.
Today, the Third Republic of Armenia is celebrating its 28th anniversary of Independence.
This year the main celebrations are taking place in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia.
