A service investigation began in the Ministry of Defense on a case that took place at approximately 3:35 in the morning on September 22nd at one of the Artsakh Defense Army units located in the northern section of the border. According to preliminary data, Defense Army soldier Hayk Khachatryan was wounded as a result of handling weapons incorrectly.
According to circulating rumors, the wounded soldier had problems with his vision, and everyone in the army was surprised that he had even been conscripted.
The body in charge of investigating the case is unaware of whether there are problems with his vision, but the Ministry of Defense Spokesman, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told Aravot Daily, “I do not know because I am not aware of the personal lives of every soldier. The investigation will continue and if someone is found guilty, they will be punished.”
