EU NEIGHBOURS. The EU and the Council of Europe (CoE) have joined forces to tackle corruption in Armenia.
On 24 September, the EU Ambassador to the country, Andrea Wiktorin, launched the project “Strengthening institutional capacities to fight and prevent corruption in Armenia”, which is one of six projects being implemented in the second phase of the EU/CoE Partnership for Good Governance programme.
Ambassador Wiktorin reiterated that for the EU, the fight against corruption has always been at the core of its agenda in Armenia and the EU is ready to further support Armenia’s strong stance against corruption.
