“I agree with positive reports about the work of the Eurasian Economic Union. The EAEU is advancing and the general market is carrying out its functions. Integration processes taking place within the framework of the EAEU are having a positive impact on the improvement of our citizens’ living conditions,” Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during the EAEU Grand Assembly session in Yerevan.
He prioritized the fact that an agreement will be made between the EAEU countries soon, which will establish a united electric energy market.
Then, Putin welcomed the presidents of Moldova and Iran, as well as the Prime Minister of Singapore. “Good conditions will be established with Singapore in several sectors. Singapore is a trustworthy partner with a developing economy. We hope that the Iran-EAEU agreement for free trade, which will go into effect at the end of October, will allow us to overcome difficulties in inventory turnover. This will promote the development of a united market.”
