The ChainPoint 19 International Blockchain Conference kicked off in Armenia. It was organized by the Armenian Nooor Blockchain Association.
The President of the Noor Blockchain Association and the organizer of the ChainPoint 19 conference, Vigen Arushanyan, told reporters that Nooor is carrying out widespread international activities because it believes that Armenia has a lot to offer to the world.
“We have a very strong math school and we are the leader in technology in the region. We have to make sure that people know about it. And it is due to international events like this one that the public can become aware of this. We are creating new educational plans and we are working on legislation. We are also collaborating with colleagues from approximately 40 different countries. It’s important to speak up about this. There are guests from 30 different countries at the ChainPoint conference who are some of the most well-known faces in the blockchain community. They will be speaking about everything that takes place here in their blockchain communities, which will have an impact on Armenia because they will also be talking about us,” Vigen Arushanyan said. He added that his goal is to put Armenia on the blockchain map.
