EU NEIGHBOURS. On 11 October, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Ambassador, Andrea Wiktorin, and the country’s Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Zhanna Andreasyan, opened an open-air quiz event in front of the Small Theatre to celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child.
Ambassador Wiktorin also visited an exhibition themed ‘Father and Daughter’ at the National Centre of Aesthetics named after Henry Igityan.
The event was organised as part of the EU-funded ‘Global Programme to Prevent Son Preference and the Undervaluing of Girls’.
