The Impact Humanity Television and Film Festival (IHTFF) is taking place in Armenia within the framework of the Aurora Forum. It is a platform for professional discussions that leading filmmakers and television producers are participating in. President of Associated Television International David McKenzie and well-known businessman and producer Sergey Sarkisov are the founders of the festival.
David McKenzie spoke about the way that Americans feel when they work in Armenia. “Armenia is a country for talented people. Many people here want to be involved in the television sector.” He said that Game of Thrones was filmed in Croatia and Montenegro, which caused many tourists to visit those countries. “We hope that many people will come to Armenia due to the shows and videos we filmed here. I believe that there is strong potential here to create wonderful television programs. Armenia can be a great location for tourists to visit.”
He spoke about the Armenian tourist film that they created where they tried to present everything that people want to see in order to visit a country. “My coworkers told me 4.5 years ago not to go to Armenia because there’s nothing there. ‘There are only a few churches.’” David McKenzie said that they thought this way due to a lack of information, and now he is happy that there are a lot of photos and information about Armenia on the Internet.

“We will import some technology to Armenia in the upcoming months, which will make the work of American companies here easier. Perhaps this doesn’t have a lot of meaning, but we want filmmakers to be happy with the work they did here,” McKenzie said.
Vice President of POPSTAR! TV, Jacob Mayberry, said that this is his seventh time in Armenia. “The biggest challenge for me is that Americans don’t know where Armenia is, and they don’t know about how safe, developed, and hospitable it is,” he said.
