Earthquake Hits 65 km South-West from Davao Town. There were 77 victim

On October 16, at 15:37 local time (at 11:37 by GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude of 6.80 and eastern longitude of 125.020 geographic coordinates (65 km north-east from south-west from Davao town, Philippines) with 6.4 magnitude and 10 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 9 at the epicenter area.

According to “RIA Novosti” news agency there were 77 victim and 5 casualties as a result of the earthquake.
