On October 17, at 08:40 information was received to “911” service that the river Voghji, Syunik Province was polluted (covered with white layer).
The operative group of crises management center of Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that near Nerkin Giratagh village, Syunik Province the pipeline of “Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine” CJSC was damaged: the emissions fell into the river Voghji. The river partially polluted.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the damaged part of the pipeline was restored.
