Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Government continues discussing public agencies’ budget application requests. The Cabinet today reviewed the 2020 budget allocation bid of the Ministry of Justice. It was discussed considering the reforms implemented by the Ministry, the emerging challenges and the proposed priorities

Reference was made to the process of judicial reform, the supply of technical equipment to penitentiary institutions, the improvement of food quality for inmates in prisons, and the minimization of corruption risks.

The Premier stressed the need for improving the performance of individual units in ministries and issued relevant instructions.
