EU NEIGHBOURS. On 22 November, the Ukrainian city Lviv will host the Second Eastern Partnership eDemocracy Conference, ‘Digitalisation and Transformation: Effects on Democracy’.
The event will gather eDemocracy, eParticipation and open government experts, academics, representatives of civil society and business from the EU’s Eastern partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine), EU Member States as well as international institutions.
The conference will serve as a platform for exchanging expertise and ideas on the opportunities and challenges of eDemocracy in the fields of digitalisation, transparency, digital transformation and the ethics of democracy, with a special emphasis on the Eastern partner countries.
