ARMENRPESS. The first hearing of suspended Head of the State Oversight Service David Sanasaryan’s trial has started at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction.
Judge David Balayan is presiding over the trial.
Sanasaryan was indicted in April 2019. He is charged with abuse of power.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan suspended Sanasaryan’s powers as State Oversight Service director after the charges were announced.

Two of Sanasaryan’s former subordinates, as well as one businessman, are also charged in the same case.
