On October 29, the delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Masis Mayilian was present at the discussion and adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution taken place in the sitting’s hall of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress.
After the voting, the Foreign Minister met with members of the House of Representatives Frank Pallone and Anna Eshoo and expressed his gratitude to them for their consistent efforts aimed at the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and their crucial contribution to the adoption of the historical Resolution.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the USA Varuzhan Nersesyan, Diocesan Legate of the U.S. Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Vicken Aykazian, representatives of the Armenian National Committee of America and the Armenian Assembly of America, as well as other members of the Armenian community and clergymen were present at the discussions.
