Earthquake hits 61 km south-west from Davao town, Philippines

On October 29, at 05:04 local time (at 01:04 by GMT) the RA MES Seismic Protection Survey Seismological Network registered an earthquake at the northern latitude of 06.830 and eastern longitude of 125.120 geographic coordinates (61 km from south-west from Davao town, Philippines) with 6.6 magnitude and 15 km depth.

The tremor measured magnitude 9 at the epicenter area.

According to “RIA Novosti” news agency there were 43 casualties and a victim as a result of the earthquake.
