ARMENPRESS. Davit Sanasaryan, the suspended Head of the State Oversight Service who is on trial over suspected misconduct, is facing a new, unrelated criminal investigation.
A criminal case has been launched over Sanasaryan’s alleged involvement in an auto-pedestrian collision when he is said to have run over a child with his car about a month ago. The 9-year old child survived.
Attorney Tigran Atanesyan, who represents the victim, said the child was mildly injured in the accident, according to a medical conclusion.
The prosecution confirmed that the investigation has been launched.
