On November 3, at 13:22 an emergency call was received to “911” service that a shell was found while implementing soiling activities in Sarigyugh village of Tavush Province.
The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that an unexploded explosive shell of cannon of 100 mm diameter had been found in the soil belonging to Vakhtang A.
The rescuers blocked off the scene and implemented patrolling.
At 17:44 the shell was neutralized by the sappers of one of the military units of the Ministry of Defense of the RA.
