EU Neighbours. On 1 November, Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from Belarus organised the ‘Go Green Halloween’ eco-party in the city of Brest. They shared their eco-friendly lifestyle experiences with around 30 young party attendees.
In the run up to the eco-party and Halloween, the YEAs rolled out an Instagram challenge, which received more than 60 contributions, around 25,000 likes and has an estimated reach of at least 200,000 social media users.
The challenge aimed to promote ecological habits and eco-friendly lifestyle among Eastern Partnership youth. Thanks to various contributions and successful cooperation with two Belarusian influencers, the campaign achieved an unprecedented reach in just a few days.
The Young European Ambassadors initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and its Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
