“As you know, we do not get involved in Armenia’s internal affairs. This also applies to other countries, especially when they do not ask us to do so. That is why I do not wish to comment on Armenia’s internal situation,” Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin said during the 12th session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
“Of course, we are following the internal political situation in Armenia, just as you are following Russian internal politics. But I do not wish to comment,” Zatulin said.
Zatulin did comment on the internal events that took place in 2018, which caused Nikol Pashinyan to rise to power. “Yes, it was a widespread change in individuals. Not only the main authorities, but there was also a major change in subordinate departments, including special services and the National Assembly.”
