The gas leaking still continues from the trailer of ”Scania” truck rolled over into the gorge (about 30 m) carrying liquefied gas of 21 tons as a result of the car accident occurred on the 6th km of Kapan-Kajaran roadway on September 23 of the current year.
Since November 3, three Rescue Service employees and two workers of Kapan Police Department impliment patroling at the scene.

To recall that on September 23, at 11:08 an emergency call was received to ”911” service that a car accident had occurred on the 6th km of Kapan-Kajaran roadway, there was a gas leak: the rescuers’ help was needed.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department and the Operative Group of Regional Crises Managment Center of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that trailer of ”Scania” truck (driver Nasrollahi Kh. born in 1980, citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran) carrying liquefied gas (21 tons) had rolled over into a gorge (about 30 m). There was a gas leak, there were no casualties.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the truck and implemented patrolling at the scene.
At 01:06 ”Mercedes” truck (driver Ahmad R. born in 1985, citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran) crashed into the parked (implementing patrolling) ”KamAZ” fire engine: the passenger (Irajh G. born in 1985) of ”Mercedes” truck was taken to the medical center of Kapan town. According to doctors’ conclusion the casualty was in fair condition.
A fire unit, the operative group of the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department and the operative group of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
On November 2, at 14:30 relevant activities were carried out by the employee of butane liquefied gas base of ”Gazprom Armenia” CJSC for trailer gas dischargement.
