EU NEIGHBOURS. On 7-8 November, representatives from wine-making municipalities of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine are meeting in Moldovan capital Chisinau for a networking event.
Aimed at exploring local authorities’ support measures to local wine producers in such municipalities, the event was organised by the EU’s Mayors for Economic Growth (M4EG) initiative.
Around 25 participants exchanged their experience in supporting local wine/alcohol producers’ clusters formation, wine exporting, and marketing their territories for wine tourism.
They will also study the best practices of Moldova in Puhoi (Ialoveni district), and will part in the dedicated section on wine making at the International Investment Forum “Invest Gagauzia-2019”, held in Komrat (Gagauzia) on 8 November.
