EU NEIGHBOURS . On 22 November, the Belgian capital of Brussels hosted an Eastern Partnership ministerial meeting on the topic of education. In particular, the event was an opportunity to discuss the future of teaching and learning in the Eastern Partnership region.

The event focused on past, current and future cooperation with the region in the field of education. The discussion revolved around challenges in the sector and partner countries’ reform agendas and actions to address these challenges.

It also focused on past, ongoing and potential future EU support to and policy dialogue with partner countries, including structured consultation on the future of the Eastern Partnership after 2020.
