Youth from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation closed Vazgen Sargsyan Street in Yerevan. The police forcefully removed them from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport building.
“This fight is not over. Arayik Harutyunyan is no longer a minister for us. He can wait for us at all of his press conferences and anywhere else he may go. We will show him with every step that no minister can work with these policies in the Republic of Armenia. And people in 22-23 countries will also wait for Arayik Harutyunyan, where he will go for his official, but of course, illegal, visits,” a member of the ARF AYF central administration, Gor Sargsyan, told reporters.

Another member of the ARF AYF central administration, Christine Vardanyan, added that the youth are no longer demanding a meeting with the minister because he has frequently labeled them up until that point. But demands for the minister’s resignation continue to remain on their agenda.
The youth hope that the issue will be resolved soon and that they will be able to return to their work. “We are holding performances and reading books. We have not spent anything on these performances, but the police removed us,” Gor Sargsyan said.
The Red Berets went to the location where the youth had gathered.
