EU NEIGHBOURS . The European Union has authorised the export of snails from Armenian to the EU, according to an announcement published on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation to Armenia on 5 December.
According to the EU Delegation, this is the third product of animal origin from Armenia, which has been granted permission to be exported to the EU market.
The other two products are honey and crayfish, for which authorisation to export to the EU was granted in 2008.
