President commemorates 1988 earthquake victims in Gyumri

ARMENPRESS. President Armen Sarkissian visited Gyumri today to pay tribute to the memory of the 1988 earthquake victims.

In Gyumri, Sarkissian attended a church mass in remembrance of the victims. Mayor of Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan, Governor of Shirak Tigran Petrosyan and Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan were also present.

Sarkissian laid a wreath at a memorial honoring the victims and observed a moment of silence.
