On December 13, at 09:55 am, an emergency call was received to “911” service that accumulated coal was on fire in the warehouse of former ”Metal Base” in Ayvazovsky Street, Yerevan.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that about 13 cubic meters of coal burnt in the area near the former “Metal Base” plant at 4/4 Aivazovsky Street (now serving as a coal processing site).
The fire was isolated at 11:00 am and extinguished at 11:32 am.
