On December 23, at 23:37 information was received to “911” service that a car accident had occurred in Zaritap village of Vayots Dzor Province: the car had run off the roadway and slid into the gorge.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “BMW” car (driver Hayrik M. born in 1984) had run off the roadway in the beginning of Zaritap village, slid (about 100 m) and appeared in the river “Pshonk”.
Hayrik M. was hospitalized to the medical center of Vayk town, where he got necessary medical aid and was discharged.
