On December 26, at 12:08 an emergency call was received to “911” service that a corpse of a man had been noticed in Artashatyan canal of Ararat Province.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the operative group of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the corpse was in Artashatyan canal (about 2 m depth) situated in the beginning of the summer houses of Nor Kyurin village.
The rescuers carried the corpse of Aleksan J. (born in 1963) out.
