The Premier was told that infrastructure improvement and tourism promotion projects will be implemented in Vanadzor, including the capital overhaul of Karen Demirchyan, Grigor Lousavorich, Aghayan, Nersisyan and Nairi streets, which are part of the M6 interstate road.

The city development program also provides for the construction of a cableway, the creation of a recreational area with hotels and sports complexes, water attractions and a concert hall on a site that encompasses three artificial lakes in Vanadzor. Highlighting the aforementioned road rehabilitation program, the Prime Minister instructed Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan to submit a relevant cost estimate. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the possibility of implementing other programs should be discussed in the framework of cooperation between the state and the private sector. In this context, the Head of Government instructed those responsible to start discussions with potential investors in order to develop a business plan and move forward in accordance with it.
