On January 8, at 13:58 information was received to “911” service that an explosion caused collapse had occurred in a house at Ogostosi 23 street, Gavar town, Gegharkunik Province.
A fire unit and an operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that an explosion had occurred in a house (owner Papin M.) in Sayadyan street, as a result of which the wall of the kitchen was collapsed (about 8 square meters), the windows and a door were damaged.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene Arayik M. (born in 1973) had been hospitalized to the medical center of Gavar town, where the doctors assessed his health condition as serious but stable.
