On January 8, at 22:37 information was received to “911” service that a car accident had occurred near renovated bridge on Yeghvard-Yerevan highway.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Mercedes CLS” car (driver Mkhitar A., born in 1989) had run off the roadway and turned over into a nearby canyon (about 7m) on the 2nd km of Yeghvard-Yerevan highway.
The ambulance workers rendered necessary medical aid to the driver on the spot. The casualty refused hospitalization.
