On January 17, at 08:35 an emergency call was received to “911” service that a house had been collapsed as a result of an explosion in Mekhanizatorner street of Zar village of Kotayk Province.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that an explosion had occurred. The house was collapsed (about 130 square meters), about 8 square meters of the roof, the glass of the door of the living room of the adjacent house and the windows of the other adjacent house were damaged
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the residents of the house (Grisha, born in 1934 and Knar, born in 1936 H.s) had been hospitalized to the medical center of Abovyan town, where the doctors assessed their health conditions serious.
