“We are prepared for a meeting. There are several agreements that we need to discuss with the co-chairs as far as how we plan on working throughout the course of the year,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said about a possible meeting with the Azeri Minister of Foreign Affairs during a questions and answers session between the government and parliament. “We have an agreement and we are waiting for the possibility of meeting very soon. The statement regarding that will be in a format previously agreed upon. I am referring to a meeting with the Azeri side and the mediators,” Mnatsakanyan said.
He also emphasized that the issue of Artsakh participating in the conflict’s negotiations process remains on the agenda for the Armenian side. “It is essential for us that the participation of the authorized subject remains an important issue.”
