EU NEIGHBOURS. The first meeting of the Interagency Commission for the Organisation of the EU–Armenia Investment Forum was held on 22 January in Yerevan, Armenia.
High-ranking officials from Armenia and the EU got together to discuss how to attract multifaceted foreign investment to the country, strengthen political and economic relations with the EU, establish new business relationships, and attract foreign direct investment in target areas.
The forum will serve as a platform where the Armenian state will be represented as a private sector partner, ensuring favourable environment for investments, and providing companies with protection guarantees.
The event is supported by the EU as part of its mission to promote economic growth and job creation in Armenia.
