On January 28, at 15:51 an emergency call was received to 911 call emergency center that a car accident had occurred near Gyumri town of Shirak Province, one of the cars had caught fire: there were casualties.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Nissan X-Trail” (driver Robert G. born in 1990) and “Opel Astra” (driver Serob M. born in 1990) cars had collided on the 5th km of Gyumri-Vanadzor roadway. “Opel Astra” car caught fire.
The drivers of the cars and the passengers of “Opel Astra” car (Misha M. born in 1997, Armine G. born in 1989 and Gayane G. born in 1992) were hospitalized to the medical center of Gyumri town. According to doctors’ conclusion Armine G. was in serious while the others – in fair condition.
