“Robert Kocharyan is not the second President of Armenia. He was never elected President. Citizens do not trust either of the two elections in which he won,” Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan told journalists in response to a question that started with, “Second President Robert Kocharyan said that…”

The journalist continued their question and referred to a statement made by Robert Kocharyan that Armenia needs to hold snap parliamentary elections. “I think that Kocharyan is disconnected from reality as he always was. Armenia does not need to have any snap elections,” Alen Simonyan said.
