Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultative meeting to discuss the process of introducing a new property tax system in the Republic of Armenia.
It was reported that all types of real estate had already been evaluated in the country. Their total number is 1,279 thousand. Those responsible presented the types of property tax envisaged in the new system for different zones. The proposed steps are aimed at increasing the targeting of taxation and introducing a unified and effective system for assessing and taxing real estate in the republic.
The Premier emphasized the importance of the reform of real estate tax and gave relevant instructions in connection with the regulations provided for in the system. Nikol Pashinyan instructed to develop a relevant bill, which will be put up for public discussion.
