“Those are simply assumptions and political statements, nothing more. The Armenian side announced through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that there is no document on the negotiations table. This is important to mention,” political expert and analyst at the Orbeli center, Narek Minasyan, told Aravot Daily in regards to claims made by the opposition in Armenia about how there is a document on the negotiations table, but Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is denying it. These claims are made in the context of meetings between the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov in Geneva.
“The Ministry also announced that the Armenian side has prioritized making sure that the main principles have been clarified. Since these issues have not been clarified, naturally, it is impossible for any document to be on the table,” Narek Minasyan said.
