‘EU4Business: Connecting Companies’ is a new project funded under the EU4Business initiative, whose aim is to promote trade between the EU Member States and the six Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
The project is expected to run until December 2022, and it builds upon the positive results of the successful EU-funded East Invest projects implemented between 2010 and 2017.
The new project will focus on five specific sectors with significant potential for increasing cross-border trade (bio/organic food, creative industries, textiles, tourism and winemaking), which would in turn foster the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Eastern partner countries.
