Nikol Pashinyan sends congratulatory letters to Iran’s President and Supreme Spiritual Leader on Islamic Revolution Anniversary

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent congratulatory letters to Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and Supreme Spiritual Leader Ali Khamenei on the 41st Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Victory.

The letter to President Rouhani reads: “I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Iran on the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The centuries-old friendship and the deeply-rooted traditions between our two nations provide a solid basis for continued progress in the furtherance of Armenian-Iranian relations.

I am confident that the full implementation of those programs and agreements reached during my visit to Iran will help expand the bilateral relations to the benefit of our two peoples.

I would like to avail myself of this opportunity and invite you to visit Armenia at your convenience.

I wish you good health, every success, as well as peace and prosperity – to the friendly people of Iran.”

The letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader says:
“Please accept my heartfelt and warmest congratulations on the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

I am confident that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue along the path of sustained development, recording new success and achievements.

Based on friendship and mutual respect, the centuries-old Armenian-Iranian ties provide a solid pledge for expanding our partnership. Armenia is interested in shaping a comprehensive bilateral agenda with friendly Iran to the benefit of our two nations.

I wish Your Eminence robust health and longevity, as well as peace and prosperity – to the friendly people of Iran.”
