On February 20, at 12:27 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that smoke was noticed in one of the houses of the 1st floor of 11 Rubinyants street of Yerevan.
Three fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Yerevan Rescue Department, the rescue squad of the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department, as well as the operative group of the Division of Fire and Rescue Activity Organization of Yerevan Rescue Department and the duty group of the Medical-Care Provision Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that fire brought out in one of the houses of the 1st floor of building 11, the whole entrance of the building is in smoke: citizens’ lives are in danger.
Firefighter chose correct tactics: in the current situation, they acted operatively, simultaneously organizing both rescue and firefighting activities.

Rescuers carried out evacuation measures at the scene: seven citizens were evacuated from the smoke zone to safe area, their lives are no longer in danger.
Fire was localized at 13:11 and extinguished at 13:24. As a result the house on the 1st floor was completely burnt and the windows of the houses on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor on the same line were damaged.
