On February 19, the delegation led by the President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan being on an official visit in the Kingdom of Denmark visited the Confederation of Danish Industry, where the COO/Deputy General Director Thomas Bustrup and the Director for International Trade and Market Development Jens Holst-Nielsen presented to the members of the Armenian Delegation the main directions of the structure’s activity, the possibilities of the business environment of Denmark, as well as the perspectives of the establishment and development of business ties with other markets.
The delegation of the National Assembly in its turn presented the business opportunities and the legislative favourable environment, including the advantages stemming from Armenia’s membership to the Eurasian Economic Union and the developing cooperation in the frameworks of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU.
At the invitation of the Danish side the NA deputies also visited an institution called ‘Green State,’ where details were presented on the joint efforts of the state, non-governmental and private sphere organizations of Denmark aimed at turning the country completely to renewable energy until 2050. The passed path and the works to be done by Denmark in recent 50 years in this direction were presented.
