With deep sorrow, I learned of the passing of RA People’s Artist, conductor, Professor Yuri Davtyan.
Yuri Davtyan stood out as a highly professional and unique personality in the constellation of the Armenian Opera Theater’s greatest conductors; he conducted several prestigious orchestras, contributing thereby to the development of musical art in Armenia.
I extend deep condolences to Yuri Davtyan’s family, friends and colleagues.
