Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Moldova Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi who has arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
The Prime Minister welcomed Mrs. Greceanîi’s visit to Armenia, noting that high-level contacts and visits have recently been reciprocated by the two countries, which come to evidence that Armenia and Moldova are interested in developing and expanding bilateral cooperation in many areas.
“I am planning to pay an official visit to Moldova. In the meantime, the inter-governmental commission will be working on the agenda to make the visit more effective. Our countries boast high-level political relations, and we need to work harder to step up the pace of economic cooperation,” the Premier said, highlighting the importance of business forums, which can help build close ties between the respective business circles.
Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the development of the Armenian-Moldovan inter-parliamentary cooperation, which may contribute to the strengthening of not only political, but also humanitarian and cultural ties.

Thankful for the warm welcome, Zinaida Greceanîi said her country intends to build political and economic partnerships with Armenia. She introduced the economic and legislative transformations underway in Moldova and thanked the Armenian government for the readiness to share its judiciary reform experience. The guests described Armenia’s reform agenda as highly inspiring.
Other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
