During the parliamentary session dedicated to Armenia-EU relations, those present asked the Deputy Minister of Economy, Varos Simonyan, “Several European countries are willing to move their factories outside of China due to the spread of the coronavirus. Is it possible for those factories to be moved to, say, Armenia?”
The deputy minister said that Armenia is prepared to welcome any European or other international organizations and attempt to localize their technologies. “We do not have any offers at the moment, but we are willing to discuss this, and perhaps several possible privileges will be offered by the government.”
